Prohibits physicians from selling hearing aids or having ownership interests in hearing aid businesses for their own patients, with exceptions for otolaryngologists and nonprofit/charitable organizations, clinics, hospitals, or health care facilities using licensed audiologists or hearing instrument specialists

Requires audiologists and otolaryngologists who sell hearing aids to their patients to disclose all fees and provide a written estimate of total purchase price, including the hearing aid, earmold, batteries, accessories, and service costs

Mandates that prospective purchasers be informed of their right to obtain a hearing aid from a different source

Permits audiologists and hearing instrument specialists to dispense or sell hearing aids when employed by or affiliated with an otolaryngologist

Makes violations of hearing aid sales regulations subject to Chapter 93A consumer protection enforcement
