Establishes a special commission to study the feasibility of synchronizing Canton's municipal elections with statewide elections, specifically moving the annual town official elections to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November

Commission membership includes: senate and house chairs of the Joint Committee on Election Laws (serving as co-chairs), ranking minority members, Canton's town administrator, secretary of the commonwealth, executive director of the Massachusetts Municipal Association, president of the Massachusetts Town Clerks Association, one Canton select board member, one Canton resident, and one governor-appointed election policy expert

Commission must examine ballot access, single vs. multiple ballot issues, costs to both the commonwealth and municipality, and consistency with state and local laws

Report with findings, recommendations, and any necessary draft legislation due to the clerks of the senate and house and the Joint Committee on Election Laws by December 30, 2026
