Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) assumes care, custody, and control of all flood prevention structures for Town Line Brook and Linden Brook, including tide gates, flood gates, and dams—excluding the 8 box culverts and trash racks built into Cutler Bridge

Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) retains responsibility for the Cutler Bridge (bridge #R05061) in Revere, including its 8 box culverts and upstream trash racks

Both agencies must conduct routine maintenance and inspections at least twice annually on their respective structures and bear all associated costs for maintenance, repairs, reconstruction, and emergency repairs

DCR must report inspection results within 90 days to MassDOT and to mayors and city council presidents in Malden, Revere, and Everett, and must notify these officials in writing of any maintenance or repairs

Elected officials and employees from Malden, Revere, and Everett may observe DCR inspections and maintenance work, and the two state agencies must coordinate to provide mutual access for inspections and repairs
