Requires all Massachusetts school districts to provide instruction in hands-only CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) use within existing physical education or health curriculum for grades 9-12

Mandates participation in the CPR/AED instructional program as a high school graduation requirement

Allows school districts to use no-cost, non-certification programs modeled on curricula from nationally recognized CPR/AED training organizations, with hands-on learning required for each student

Provides exemptions for students with a physician's written certification that participation would be injurious, or upon written parental/guardian objection

Effective date: September 1, 2026
