Prohibits the sale, trade, or distribution of fur products in Massachusetts if the fur was sourced from animals raised on fur farms, including mink, fox, raccoon dog, or chinchilla

Covers clothing, fashion accessories (handbags, shoes, hats, gloves, jewelry), and home décor made in whole or part of fur

Exempts used fur products, fur used for religious purposes, fur from certain animal families (cattle, camels, horses, pigs, deer), leather, and loose fur fibers not attached to skin

Civil penalties range from $500 to $5,000 per violation, with each fur product constituting a separate violation; Attorney General responsible for enforcement

Takes effect 1 year after passage; Attorney General must promulgate implementation rules within 6 months of passage
