Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) receives care, custody, and control of flood prevention structures for Town Line Brook and Linden Brook, including tide gates attached to the 107 Cutler Highway bridge in Revere

Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) retains responsibility for the Cutler Highway bridge itself, including 8 box culverts built into the bridge and upstream trash racks

Both agencies must conduct routine maintenance and inspections at least twice annually on their respective structures, plus handle emergency repairs, reconstruction, and regular repairs as needed

DCR must report inspection results within 90 days to MassDOT and to mayors and city council presidents of Malden, Revere, and Everett; officials from these cities may observe DCR maintenance activities

Each state agency bears the costs of maintenance, repairs, and inspections for the structures under its control
