Extends coverage mandate to policyholders and their children across multiple insurance types: Group Insurance Commission plans, accident and sickness policies, hospital service plans, medical service agreements, and health maintenance contracts

Mandates coverage for related services prescribed by licensed audiologists or hearing instrument specialists, including initial evaluations, fittings, adjustments, and supplies such as ear molds

Allows insured individuals to select higher-priced hearing aids and pay the difference above the $2,000 limit without financial or contractual penalties to themselves or providers

Applies to all health insurance policies delivered, issued, or renewed on or after January 1, 2026, excluding Medicare supplemental coverage
