Requires all health insurers in Massachusetts to cover colorectal cancer screening starting at age 30 when deemed medically necessary by a primary care physician

Mandates coverage for multiple screening methods including flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, FIT tests, FIT-DNA tests, CT colonography, HSgFOBT, and KRAS/BRAF/PIK3CA genetic testing arrays

Prohibits any co-payments, deductibles, coinsurance, or other cost-sharing for colorectal cancer screening services

Eliminates additional charges for all associated services including tissue removal, laboratory work, physician services, facility fees, and anesthesia

Applies to Group Insurance Commission coverage, Medicaid managed care, accident and sickness insurance policies, hospital service plans, medical service agreements, and health maintenance organizations
