Requires health insurance coverage for post-pregnancy mental health care, including postpartum and post-miscarriage mental health services, with no deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, or other cost-sharing requirements

Applies to state employee health plans (Chapter 32A), MassHealth/Medicaid (Chapter 118E), and private insurers including commercial insurance (Chapter 175), hospital service corporations (Chapter 176A), medical service corporations (Chapter 176B), and HMOs (Chapter 176G)

Prohibits unreasonable restrictions or delays in coverage for post-pregnancy mental health care

Extends the same mental health benefits to an enrollee's covered spouse and dependents

Takes effect 6 months after passage
