Requires all Massachusetts health insurance plans to cover pain control methods during IUD insertion, including intravenous sedation, oral sedation, nitrous oxide, local anesthesia, and topical anesthesia as prescribed by a provider

Coverage must be provided without deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, or other cost-sharing requirements

Applies to state employee plans (Group Insurance Commission), Medicaid, commercial insurers, hospital service plans, medical service agreements, and health maintenance organizations

Exempts churches and qualified church-controlled organizations from the coverage mandate, though they must provide written notice to prospective enrollees listing excluded services

Takes effect for policies delivered, issued, or renewed on or after September 1, 2026
