Establishes a primary care workforce development and loan forgiveness grant program at community health centers to enhance recruitment and retention of physicians, clinicians, and bachelor's degree-level professionals such as community health workers, recovery coaches, and family partners

Executive Office of Health and Human Services will administer the program, with authority to contract with an outside organization for administration

Eligibility for loan repayment requires working at a community health center, having outstanding educational debt, not participating in other loan repayment programs, and committing to a minimum 4-year contract with the Commonwealth

Program prioritizes recruiting and retaining a culturally, ethnically, and linguistically diverse workforce, with assistance pro-rated for part-time workers

Funded through the Behavioral Health and Community-Based Primary Care Reserve established in Chapter 102 of the Acts of 2021
