Creates a new criminal offense in Maryland for knowingly or willfully taking mail or packages delivered to another person without the recipient's permission and with intent to deprive the owner

Defines "mail or package" as items delivered or left for collection by the U.S. Postal Service or any delivery service company handling tangible personal property

Classifies the offense as a felony punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment

Takes effect October 1, 2025
