Prohibits insurers, nonprofit health service plans, health maintenance organizations, and the Maryland Medical Assistance Program from imposing time limitations on anesthesia coverage for procedures ordered by a licensed medical professional

Requires coverage for anesthesia delivery for the entire duration of a procedure, not just a predetermined time period

Mandates coverage for medical care related to anesthesia provided immediately before and after the procedure

Applies to managed care organizations in the same manner as other insurance carriers

Takes effect January 1, 2026, applying to all policies, contracts, and health benefit plans issued, delivered, or renewed on or after that date
