Expands the scope of the existing Workgroup on Home Detention Monitoring to study policies, practices, and responses when individuals violate home detention conditions, including absconding from monitoring

Requires the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services to collect and report annual data to the Workgroup by September 1 each year for the prior fiscal year

Mandates data collection on the number of people placed on home detention monitoring, disaggregated by race, gender, jurisdiction, and monitoring provider

Requires tracking of home detention violations disaggregated by race, gender, jurisdiction, nature of violation, and monitoring provider, as well as the number of violations reported to law enforcement and judges

Takes effect June 1, 2025, and amends Chapter 763 of the Acts of 2024 which originally established the Workgroup
