Public high schools may allow homeschool students participating in COMAR-compliant home instruction programs to participate in school-sponsored athletic activities on the same basis as enrolled students

Athletic activities covered include interscholastic athletics held outside regular school hours for which students do not earn academic credit

Enrolled students must receive placement priority over homeschool students when limited spaces are available for extracurricular activities
