Exempts duplexes in Prince George's County from the prohibition on master meters for water and sewer service when the duplex is constructed, converted, or intended to be converted to condominium or cooperative ownership

Current law prohibits the Public Service Commission from authorizing master meters in residential multiple occupancy buildings converted to condo or co-op ownership in Prince George's County

Buildings with existing master meters that convert to condo or co-op ownership must install individual meters for each dwelling unit and common areas before the conversion takes effect

Applies only to Prince George's County and amends Section 23-202(e) of the Public Utilities Article

Takes effect October 1, 2025
