Law enforcement agencies must report student arrests for reportable offenses or criminal organization-related offenses to three additional entities: the Maryland Center for School Safety, the Juvenile Services Education Program, and the State Board of Education, within 24 hours of arrest

State's Attorneys are now required (rather than permitted) to notify the State's Attorney of arrests, and must report case dispositions to the Maryland Center for School Safety, Juvenile Services Education Program, and State Board in addition to local school officials

Local superintendents must notify the Maryland Center for School Safety, Juvenile Services Education Program, and State Board when a student with reported arrest information no longer resides within the county board's jurisdiction

The Maryland Center for School Safety, Juvenile Services Education Program, and State Board are authorized to transmit confidential arrest information to other school systems when students transfer, if the case resulted in conviction/adjudication or is still pending
