Charles County is authorized to regulate the operation of off-highway recreational vehicles on highways under its jurisdiction

The county may require off-highway recreational vehicles to be registered and impose a registration fee

Age restrictions on the operation of off-highway recreational vehicles may be imposed by the county

Impoundment of off-highway recreational vehicles is authorized for alleged violations of reckless driving provisions (Title 21, Subtitle 9) or criminal law sections related to reckless endangerment (§ 6-404 and § 6-405)
