Adds "convertible pistol" as a new defined term in Maryland's Criminal Law Article alongside existing definitions for assault weapons, rapid fire activators, and other prohibited firearm devices

Violations are punishable as a misdemeanor with up to 3 years imprisonment, a fine up to $5,000, or both

Effective date is October 1, 2025
