Cannabis agents employed as security guards for cannabis licensees are exempt from obtaining a separate State or national criminal history records check if they are already authorized to provide security guard services under existing Business Occupations and Professions regulations

The definition of "security guard employer" is amended to exclude video lottery operators, sports wagering facility licensees, and health care facilities from security guard employer requirements

Cannabis agent registration requirements remain in place, including being at least 21 years old and completing annual responsible vendor training

The Administration may not deny cannabis agent registration based on cannabis-related offenses occurring before July 1, 2023
