Transfers responsibility for reimbursing sexual assault exam and treatment costs from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board to the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy

Physicians, qualified health care providers, and hospitals providing services to victims of alleged rape, sexual offense, or child sexual abuse must submit verification to the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy for payment

Victims may decline to provide health insurance information or submit personal information to payment assistance programs if they believe it would interfere with their privacy or safety

When victims decline to provide insurance information, treatment and follow-up care must still be provided at no charge, with providers entitled to reimbursement from the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy
