Establishes a civil penalty of up to $50,000 for any person who falsifies information in lead-contaminated dust testing or inspection reports submitted to the Department of Environment

Each day a violation occurs constitutes a separate violation, allowing penalties to accumulate

Applies to reports required under Section 6-818, which mandates that accredited inspectors submit verified results to the Department, property owners, and tenants

Supplements existing penalties, including the $30,000 maximum penalty for property owners who knowingly employ supervisors who falsely verify lead remediation work

Takes effect October 1, 2025
