Maryland Department of Health must submit a feasibility report by December 31, 2025 to the Senate Finance Committee and House Health and Government Operations Committee on establishing an online directory of home health care providers

The report must assess how a directory could help individuals find providers based on criteria such as language proficiency, certifications, experience, and special skills

Required consultation with stakeholders including the Maryland Department of Aging, residential service agency trade associations, consumer organizations, and employee organizations representing health care workers

The report must review home health care provider directories in other states, existing county-level directories in Maryland, and current resources available through the Maryland Health Care Commission and Office of Health Care Quality

Recommendations must address how a directory could support workforce retention and recruitment, connect providers to training opportunities, and facilitate emergency communications with home health care providers
