Doubles the required annual budget appropriation for the Growing Family Child Care Opportunities Program from $450,000 to $900,000 for fiscal years 2027 and 2028

Maintains the existing $450,000 appropriation level for fiscal years 2023, 2024, and 2026

Authorizes the Governor to use federal funds to satisfy the appropriation requirements for both the original and increased funding levels

The Growing Family Child Care Opportunities Program provides grants of up to $150,000 to local jurisdictions partnering with child care resource centers to establish and support family child care providers

Effective date: July 1, 2025
