Repeals examination requirements for bachelor social worker and master social worker licenses, while maintaining exam requirements for certified social worker and certified social worker-clinical licenses

Increases the State Board of Social Work Examiners membership from 12 to 14 members

Doubles the number of consumer members on the Board from 2 to 4

Maintains existing requirements for all license types including educational degrees from Council on Social Work Education accredited programs, supervised experience hours, and criminal background checks

Takes effect October 1, 2025
