State Superintendent must send written notice to county boards when curriculum discrepancies are identified, triggering a 30-day window for the county superintendent to meet and develop a corrective plan with implementation timeline

County boards that fail to satisfactorily implement corrective plans must adopt the Department's curriculum standards and curriculum resources for the specific subjects or courses identified as deficient

State funds will be withheld from county boards that fail to adopt required curriculum standards within 60 days of receiving written notice of non-compliance

Act takes effect July 1, 2025
