Recorded images from noise abatement monitoring systems in Montgomery County and Prince George's County are now subject to the same inspection restrictions as images from speed cameras and red light cameras, with access limited to cited individuals, their attorneys, and agency employees conducting investigations.

The pilot programs for noise abatement monitoring systems in both counties are extended from 2 years to 4 years, with the new termination date moved from June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2028.

Required county reports to the Governor and General Assembly are extended from December 1, 2025 to December 1, 2027, covering system usage periods, citations issued, implementation costs, revenue collected, and effectiveness in reducing motor vehicle noise.

The act takes effect July 1, 2025, with Section 1 (regarding recorded image inspection rules) set to expire on June 30, 2028.
