Expands the Maryland Loan Assistance Repayment Program for Nurses to include for-profit employment in areas with health care workforce shortages, and adds prioritized funding for nurses practicing in geographic shortage areas or specialty shortage fields

Extends the State Board of Nursing's termination date from July 1, 2025 to July 1, 2030 under the Maryland Program Evaluation Act (Sunset Law)

Reduces the preceptorship tax credit requirement from 100 hours to 90 hours per rotation and extends the tax credit termination date from June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2030

Creates an alternative pathway for registered nurse licensure by endorsement for applicants with associate or baccalaureate degrees from accredited nursing programs who complete required direct patient care hours

Delays the effective date for certified nursing assistant licensing requirements from October 1, 2025 to April 1, 2026, and removes the 45-day approval requirement for nursing assistant training program sites
