Repeals Section 3.5–405 of the State Finance and Procurement Article, which required county governments, local school systems, and local health departments to create or update cybersecurity preparedness and response plans and complete cybersecurity assessments

The repealed provision was identified as duplicative of other existing law

Municipal governments were already exempt from the repealed requirement

Renumbers Sections 3.5–406 and 3.5–407 to become Sections 3.5–405 and 3.5–406 to maintain statutory organization

Effective July 1, 2025; approved by Governor Wes Moore on April 22, 2025
