Removes the minimum 2-hour requirement for State Ethics Commission training courses for public officials, replacing it with flexible delivery through online training or live presentation covering conflict of interest, financial disclosure, and administrative requirements.

Allows ethics training for regulated lobbyists to be provided through online training or live presentation, rather than requiring in-person attendance at the twice-yearly courses.

Expands financial disclosure requirements from "salaried employment" to "compensated employment" and from "place" of employment to "source" of employment for individuals and their immediate family members.

Maintains the 6-month deadline for public officials to complete ethics training after filling a vacancy or having a position designated as a public official position.

Takes effect October 1, 2025.
