Increases the maximum duration of an emergency status determination from 180 days to 300 days, allowing the Maryland Transportation Authority to maintain temporary toll, fee, and charge adjustments for a longer period

Emergency status may be declared when the Authority cannot comply with standard public notice and comment procedures while meeting bond payment obligations or addressing unforeseen circumstances affecting transportation facility operations

Temporary toll adjustments under emergency status take effect immediately upon adoption, bypassing the normal public hearing requirements

The Authority must still notify the public on its website and begin standard public comment procedures immediately after adopting emergency adjustments
