Creates a new exception to juvenile police record confidentiality allowing the Office of the Attorney General to publicly release a child's name and age during independent investigations of police-involved incidents resulting in death or injury to a child

Requires express consent from the child's parent or guardian before any such public disclosure can occur

Applies specifically to investigations conducted under § 6–602 of the State Government Article (independent police-involved incident investigations)

Takes effect October 1, 2025
