Department of Agriculture must develop and maintain a list of all PFAS pesticides registered in Maryland, posting it online and distributing to certified applicators by January 1, 2032

Beginning June 1, 2032, PFAS pesticides are prohibited at health care facilities, schools, day care operations, for residential lawn care, and for commercial mosquito spraying

Beginning June 1, 2032, the Department may not register any PFAS pesticide for sale in the State, and no person may use PFAS pesticides anywhere in Maryland

PFAS chemicals are defined as fluorinated chemicals containing at least one fully fluorinated carbon atom, including perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances

Department of Agriculture and Maryland Department of Health may add additional PFAS chemicals to the restricted list based on new health impact data and availability of alternatives
