Local boards of elections must post meeting agendas, finalized documents, public testimony, and voting materials on their websites at least 48 hours before each open meeting (or as soon as practicable for emergency meetings)

Local boards must provide live video streaming of all open meetings, with exceptions for off-site meetings, project site visits, and inspections

Complete, unedited archived video recordings of all live-streamed meetings must be maintained for a minimum of 5 years

The State Board of Elections must adopt regulations by December 1, 2025 to implement live streaming requirements in a manner that maximizes transparency while protecting voter anonymity

The act takes effect June 1, 2025
