Designates November 14 each year as "Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day" to commemorate Ruby Bridges becoming the first African American student to integrate an all-white elementary school in New Orleans on November 14, 1960

State Department of Education must develop model content for Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day educational programs, including age-appropriate lesson plans, discussion guides, historical documents, and multimedia resources

Model content must include resources to help teachers engage students in discussions about civil rights and social justice

Effective date is July 1, 2025
