Creates a new venue beer, wine, and liquor license in Dorchester County for nonprofit or for-profit retail businesses hosting weddings, banquets, parties, meetings, and similar events

Eligible venues must be at least 2,000 square feet, accommodate at least 100 individuals, and have adequate bathroom facilities

License authorizes sale of beer, wine, and liquor by the drink or bottle for on-premises consumption only during events where food is served; no carry-on or carry-off of alcohol permitted

Annual license fee is $1,500; license cannot be transferred to another location and follows Class B license hours of operation

Venues within 300 feet of a place of worship or school may obtain the license with written consent from those institutions; effective July 1, 2025
