Prohibits persons currently subject to a court-ordered assisted outpatient treatment order under § 10-6A-08 of the Health – General Article from possessing regulated firearms, rifles, or shotguns

Requires courts to promptly report to the FBI's National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) when ordering a person to comply with assisted outpatient treatment, including the person's name, identifying information, and date of the order

Amends the Health – General Article to clarify that assisted outpatient treatment respondents may have certain license and permit rights affected under the Public Safety Article's firearm restrictions

Takes effect July 1, 2025, contingent on Chapter 704 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2024 taking effect; automatically becomes null and void if Chapter 704 does not become effective
