State Department of Assessments and Taxation must prepare, install, and maintain a database of statewide and local geographic images for property appraisal, including GIS visualizations and oblique aerial photographic imagery

Department of General Services must procure a uniform system with tools and services needed to maintain the geographic image database, consulting with affected state and local government units

Counties and Baltimore City must reimburse the State 100% of annual database costs up to $1,000,000, and 50% of any costs exceeding $1,000,000, allocated based on each jurisdiction's share of real property accounts

Department must develop policies by June 30, 2025 to protect the identity of individuals whose images are captured by oblique aerial photography, with a report to the General Assembly due by July 15, 2025

Act takes effect June 1, 2025
