Maryland higher education institutions admitting first-time undergraduates must prominently display a link to the U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard on their prospective student websites by July 1, 2026

Institutions must include explanations of the Scorecard data covering cost of attendance, graduation rates, salary outcomes, and debt outcomes

Required information must be shared during student orientations, recruitment events, and in recruitment materials, and distributed regularly to prospective students, parents, current students, academic advisors, and career counselors

Institutions must post the Scorecard link and explanations on social media at least once per semester and on campus career center websites

If the federal College Scorecard is discontinued, the Maryland Higher Education Commission must compile and provide equivalent data using Commission records, the Maryland Longitudinal Data System, and other sources
