Public Service Commission must consider the impact of proposed overhead transmission lines on properties with existing conservation easements when reviewing certificate of public convenience and necessity applications

Applicants for new overhead transmission lines must document the impact on conservation easement properties along all alternative routes considered, including reasons for rejecting each route

Applicants must either minimize impacts on conservation easement properties in the proposed route or change the route to reduce such impacts

Amends Section 7–207 of the Maryland Public Utilities Article
