Expands the Janet L. Hoffman Loan Assistance Repayment Program to include veterinarians and veterinary technicians who graduated from accredited veterinary colleges or universities

Veterinarians and veterinary technicians qualify after working as employees in Maryland for at least 5 years

Alternatively, veterinary professionals qualify by volunteering at least 100 hours per year for 3 years at eligible animal shelters, including those owned by local governments, contracted animal control organizations, or Maryland Spay and Neuter Grants Program recipients
