Motor Vehicle Administration must consult with disability advocacy groups on the notation design, establish public outreach efforts, and notify individuals turning 18 that they may request removal of the notation

No fee charged for adding the notation or for issuing a corrected document solely to add it; no proof of disability required from applicants

Disability information is protected from disclosure to insurance companies and most other entities without a court order, with exceptions for courts, criminal justice agencies, and the applicant's designated parties

Maryland Police Training and Standards Commission must immediately implement training for law enforcement on interactions with individuals displaying the nonapparent disability notation; effective October 1, 2025
