Program must provide information on finding dental insurance coverage, lists of pediatric dentists by region, and education on the importance of dental health to overall student well-being

Maryland Department of Health is required to adopt regulations to implement the program by October 1, 2025, with full implementation for the 2027-2028 school year

Original requirement for mandatory student submission of dental health certificates to schools was removed through amendments
