Repeals the requirement that Maryland's State Reporter secure copyright for the State on published reports of opinions from the Supreme Court of Maryland and the Appellate Court of Maryland

Updates gendered language in the statute, changing "his court" to "the clerk's court" when referring to appellate court clerks delivering opinions for publication

Retains existing requirements that the State Reporter prepare case reports for publication, that opinions be published within six months of decision, and that the Reporter superintend proofreading and publication
