Landlords in Howard County must include in written leases the amount of the Columbia Association annual charge passed to tenants and a description of how the charge is calculated

Written leases must describe the rights and privileges afforded to residential tenants or commercial tenants' employees under Columbia Association covenants

Landlords must provide tenants with copies of Columbia Association covenants and governing documents at lease signing, plus Village Association or Town Center documents for residential properties

Document requirements may be satisfied through physical copy, digital copy, or permanent link to digital copies

Effective October 1, 2025; applies only to residential and commercial properties subject to Columbia Association covenants
