Establishes a Workgroup on the Creation of a Data Dashboard for Public Work Contracts and Apprentices to study the most efficient and cost-effective method for creating a publicly available data dashboard

Workgroup membership includes 3 state senators, 3 delegates, Secretary of Labor, Commissioner of Labor and Industry, and 6 Governor-appointed representatives from building trades, contractor associations, and the Maryland Minority Contractors Association

Dashboard would track contractor and subcontractor names, employee wages and benefits, job classifications, and detailed apprentice information including demographics, trade, certification status, and registration dates

Workgroup must report findings and recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly by January 7, 2027

Act takes effect July 1, 2025 and automatically sunsets on January 31, 2027 without further legislative action
