Maryland Health Benefit Exchange must promote health insurance access for child care professionals by partnering with the State Department of Education, prekindergarten provider hubs, child care associations, and nonprofit organizations

The Exchange must help child care professionals obtain coverage through the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange or Medicaid, and assist those losing Medicaid with finding alternative options

The Exchange must conduct a survey assessing health care access levels across the child care community, with particular emphasis on providers who accept child care scholarship vouchers

Outreach efforts must include flyers, webinars, in-person events, and other materials targeted to child care providers to ensure health plan options meet their budgets and coverage needs
