Transportation network companies (e.g., Uber, Lyft) must provide drivers with weekly earnings summaries showing total fares collected, additional fees charged to passengers, total operator earnings, and earnings expressed as a percentage of fares and fees

Companies must report aggregated data to the Public Service Commission by February 1 each year, including average fares collected from Maryland passengers, total operator driving time, and total operator earnings

Information reported to the Commission is classified as trade secret and confidential proprietary information, exempt from public disclosure under the Public Information Act

The General Assembly may request access to the reports on a confidential basis
