Eliminates the sunset provision requiring Maryland Medicaid and insurers to reimburse telehealth services at the same rate as in-person visits, establishing payment parity as ongoing policy

Expands authorization for prescribing Schedule II opiates for pain treatment via telehealth when the practitioner has an established bona fide patient relationship with a prior in-person assessment

Requires the Maryland Health Care Commission to submit a report to the Governor and General Assembly every 4 years beginning December 1, 2026, covering telehealth developments, evolving delivery modalities, cost changes, and recommendations

Takes effect June 1, 2025
