Adds Section 14-602.1 to the Maryland Estates and Trusts Article specifying how notice and documents must be delivered under the Maryland Trust Decanting Act

Requires authorized fiduciaries to provide notice by personal service, certified or first-class mail with return receipt requested, or courier delivery service with delivery confirmation

Allows alternative notice methods (first-class mail, fax with confirmation page, or email with acknowledgement requested) if the recipient agrees in writing

Permits recipients to revoke authorization for alternative notice methods at any time by notifying the fiduciary through one of the standard delivery methods

Requires fiduciaries who know or should know that alternative notice was not actually received to re-send notice using a standard delivery method

Takes effect October 1, 2025
